Characteristics of sagittal curvature and mobility of the thoracolumbar segment of the spine in students specialising in physical dance

Aims: To understand the sagittal and mobility characteristics of thoracolumbar segment spine in students specialising physical dance. METHODS: Sagittal curvature was measured 35 standard dance students, 41 Latin 43 general university using Spinal Mouse electrometer. Results: (1) In upright position, T9/10 to L4/5 significantly less dance-specific girls than regular female (p<0.05). (2) The T1/2~T5/6 L1/2-L5~S1 segments position spinal shoe for boys specialization (p<0.05, respectively); T1/2~T7/8 L1/2~L5/S1 thoracic ( p<0.05, T1/2~T6/7 T11/12~L5/S1 shoe-wearing T12/L1~L5/S1 respectively). (3) maximum forward flexion T1/2 T4/5 male (4) posterior extension T5/6 greater Conclusions: plane convexity decreased anterior lumbar increased with specialties.
